For over thirty years he has been at the forefront of resolving complex conflicts and disputes, and conducted thousands of mediations, with governments, businesses, organisations, pressure groups, factions, and individuals from many parts of the world.

In addition, he has acted as adviser to numerous governments and international bodies on mediation and conflict-related issues, and trained and mentored mediators around the world.
