For three years, Bill advised the Government of Romania on the introduction and development of mediation into its legal and judicial system.
This involved:
- Developing policy thinking and capacity
- Advising on and drafting legislation
- Advising on and implementing an ethical and regulatory framework for mediation
- Extensive training programmes for judges, lawyers, mediators and others
